Monkey River Totally Wild Tours. Invite you to come and experience the monkey river wildlife tour and Monkey River Village in a whole new way. If you are staying any way in our beautiful country Belize. we can pick you up from Placencia. Two full days and one overnight in monkey river village for tour and fun. If you are into wildlife, both nocturnal and diurnal animals. Or you are into birding, fly fishing, drag line fishing and culture. this overnight trip is perfect for you.

Day 1. The boat leaves Placencia from MnM dock. At 8:00 am headed down to Monkey River village to do our monkey river wildlife tour and jungle hiking. At 12:00pm we have lunch at Alice’s restaurant. After lunch, you get settled into your hotel at Sunny and K hotel. in the center of the community.

2:00 pm: we take a short walk around the community of Monkey River to get acquainted with the people and businesses you may want to hang out with or visit. Village tour end at 3:00 pm.

You will have dinner at 6:00 pm. Then at 7:30 pm, we head out on the boat for a night cruise up the monkey river with headlamps to do a one-of-a-kind night tour to encounter some of our nocturnal animals like crocs, jaguars, and Pacas. Just to name a few. This tour returns to the village at 11:00 pm.

Day 2: Guess will leave from the dock at 6:00 am to go on a one-of-a-kind birding tour up the monkey river. We will have breakfast on board the boat. The tour will return to monkey river at 10:00 am

At 11:30: we have lunch at Alice’s restaurant. Around 12:30 pm we head out for a half day of fly fishing or drag fishing for tarpon, snooks or barracuda. Tour end at 3:30 pm.

At 4:00 pm we head back to Placencia. Where we say our goodbyes.

VERY IMPORTANT: WHEN WE PICK YOU UP FROM PLACENCIA, PLEASE BRING ALONG ALL ITEMS YOU WILL NEED FOR AN OVERNIGHT STAY IN MONKEY RIVER VILLAGE. LIKE CLOTHING OR MEDICATION. ect..
